Motor Housing Assembly / Disassembly
1. Install the housing retaining ring over the motor shaft.
2. Clean the motor support bearings of any grease and verify that they spin freely.
3. Install the two (2) bearings on the motor support plate.
4. Install the spiral ring that retains the bearings.
5. Adjust the #4-40 set screws on the motor support plate to pre-load the inner race of
the bearings. Verify that the bearings spin freely.
6. Mount the motor support plate to the stepper motor using four (4) fasteners.
7. Install the drive pin to the bottom of the table.
8. Install the spacer ring below the bearings, the outer race must be clamped in place
after tightening the ring with the spanner wrench.
