The "Temperature" Input Signal is not shown above:
• Type: Input Signal
• I/O Connection: 5265MG
• Address: 2:1f
NOTES:
• The "Motor Speed", "Motor Speed – Conditioning" and "Motor Encoder" Input
Signals along with the "Motor Speed" Analog Output use the "l" (lower case L)
register type.
• The "Motor" Digital output is not used for this version of the 5265MG.
• The "Motor Encoder" and "Motor Temperature" Input Signals are not required
for normal operation. Chandler Engineering recommends that these signals be
configured but disabled.
• 5270 will complain that the "Motor Speed" and "Motor Speed – Conditioning"
are using the same address. Click Yes when presented with the following dialog.
• These addresses are listed in the 5270 Help file (Help > View Help; click the
"Instrument Addresses" link from the "Communication Details" page.

Complete the Instrument Configuration

Once the Instrument is created, modify the Instrument and verify the following:
• "Motor Speed" Input Signal Calibration should be:
i. Slope: 0.1
ii. Offset: 0
• "Motor Speed – Conditioning" Input Signal Calibration should be:
i. Slope: 0.000277778
ii. Offset: 0
• "Motor Speed" Analog Output Calibration should be:
i. Slope: 3600
ii. Offset: 0
• "Motor Temperature" Raw units should be °C; Calibration should be:
i. Calibrated Units of °C: Slope: 0.1; Offset: 0
ii. Calibrated Units of °F: Slope: 0.18; Offset: 32
