Load PID Values depending on Instrument
To load the appropriate PID Tuning values for the currently configured instrument:
1. From the Home Screen, press the Scroll button. "LOAD" appears in the Middle
Readout.
2. Press the Raise and Lower buttons to scroll through the available recipes (SGSA, mG
and uCA).
3. Wait for the Upper Readout to flash once indicating that the Recipe has been loaded.
4. Press the Page button to return to the Home Screen.
The appropriate PID Values can be applied by the 5270 Start Sequence. On the Start
Sequence tab, write a value of 2 to the Temperature Signal (units should match the Raw units
defined in the Temperature Input Signal).
Similarly, the Start Sequence can be used on the base instrument (UCA, HTUCA or SGSA)
to load the appropriate PID values. Change the Start Sequence Value to:
1. SGSA
2. MG
3. UCA
4. HTUCA
NOTE: This requires the base instrument be configured with a Temperature Input Signal
with an Advanced Set Point address of 2:2408u. See
in Section 2.
