To access Matrox Iris E-Series using a telnet application, perform one of the
following:

You can enable or disable your Matrox Iris E-Series telnet server through the Telnet
/ FTP server settings page of the Matrox Iris portal website. If enabled, you can
also enable authentication from the same page.

F i l e t r a n s f e r p r o t o c o l ( F T P )
Each Matrox Iris E-Series has an FTP server. Through an FTP session, you can
transfer files to/from the flash disk to/from any drive mounted on your computer.
Logging of all FTP server activity is saved in a temporary file in the root folder of
Matrox Iris E-Series. You can access your Matrox Iris E-Series using an FTP
application that accesses the FTP server on Matrox Iris E-Series.
To access Matrox Iris E-Series using an FTP application, perform one of the
following:
ftp IrisName
