Matrox Iris E-Series has a standard RS-232 female connector, used to transmit
and receive RS-232 signals and to provide power to the device. It can also be used
as a COM port to send and receive control signals to and from an external device.
When purchasing a power supply from a supplier other than Matrox, the
recommended type of power supply is the Sino-American Electronic
SA115B-24U. Contact your Matrox sales representative for details.
