You can access your Matrox Iris E-Series using four different methods: web access
(HTTP), File Server, telnet, and FTP.

You can access your Matrox Iris E-Series using its Matrox Iris portal website. Each
Matrox Iris E-Series hosts the Matrox Iris portal website. This website consists of
a series of pages through which you can configure, reboot, view images, and
monitor your Matrox Iris E-Series.
The Matrox Iris portal website contains utilities which have the following
requirements:
Refer to Enabling ActiveX components subsection of the Matrox Iris portal website
section, in Chapter 3: Connecting to your Matrox Iris E-Series, for details regarding
enabling the required ActiveX functions for Microsot Internet Explorer 7.0.
To access the portal website of your Matrox Iris E-Series, open Microsoft Internet
Explorer and go to the following address:
http://IrisName
The Matrox Iris portal website is displayed.
