The Matrox Iris E-Series power supply and cable kit includes the following:
• Power supply.
• Power and RS-232 serial cable.
• DB25-to-open cable for user-defined I/O.
• A mounting block.

The Matrox Iris E-Series lens kit includes either one CS-mount 4 mm lens and
one CS-mount 8 mm lens, or one C-mount 12 mm lens (for use with the
IP1200H and/or the IP1200R) and one C to CS-mount adapter ring.
H a n d l i n g p r e c a u t i o n s
The lens of Matrox Iris E-Series is a sensitive device. It should never be touched
directly. Always cover the lens if the smart camera is not in use to reduce dust
buildup.
If dust accumulates on the lens, use either a can of compressed air or a lens cloth
to remove the dust.
N a m i n g c o n v e n t i o n s
Your Matrox Iris E-Series is a network-aware device. The terminology used
throughout this reference mirrors that for Local Area Networks (LANs).
In this manual, a computer with full access to the various services of your Matrox
Iris E-Series is referred to as your computer.
