A c c e s s i n g t h e p o r t a l w e b s i t e
To access the portal website of your Matrox Iris E-Series, open Microsoft Internet
Explorer and go to the following address:
http://IrisName
The Matrox Iris portal website should be displayed. The Matrox Iris portal website
consists of several pages that connect via the quick navigation links at the top of
each page. Clicking on the phrase Matrox Iris configuration portal home, at the
top of any page, will reload the Matrox Iris portal website home page. For a
field-by-field description of each page, refer to Appendix E: Matrox Iris portal
website details.
Note that the first time that you view the Matrox Iris portal website, the EULA
page is displayed. This provides a 30-day temporary license for the Model Finder
package.
❖ Verification of the date and time before activating the temporary license is
important since the 30-day period will begin on the date and time specified on
the EULA page. After activation, any date or time change will automatically expire
the temporary license. The temporary license can only be activated once over the
lifetime of your Matrox Iris E-Series smart camera. For more information, refer
to the Matrox Design Assistant licensing section, in Chapter 2: Installing Matrox
Design Assistant.
