The I/O board is the same for the entire Matrox Iris E-Series family of products.
• I/O board: 10/100 Mbits ethernet.
• Serial communication interface: RS-232.
• Digital I/Os: 8 inputs and 8 outputs (open collector).
- 8 independent sink driver output signals and 8 independent input signals, used
to connect TTL or non-TTL devices (up to 24 V).
- Input signals have interrupt generation capabilities.

The software environment is the same for the entire Matrox Iris E-Series family
of products.
• Operating system: Microsoft Windows CE .NET 5.0 (headless configuration
with TCP/IP, HTTP and FTP services).
• Computer requirements: Microsoft Windows XP with service pack 2 or above,
or Microsoft Vista. Up to 310 Mbytes of free hard disk space, Microsoft Internet
Explorer 7.0, DirectX 9.0, and 10/100 BaseT ethernet port.
