X From the drop-down list, select the park position to which the mea-
suring head will move after the caustic measurement.
You have the following options:
Focus: The measuring head is moved back to the position of the
determined beam focus.
Start position: The measuring head is moved back to the start
position.
End position: The measuring head remains in the end position.
The selected position is also the start position for the precaustic mea-
surement of the next measurement (unless you enter a different value in
the z position in mm field).
Use one of the following options to adjust the position of the measurement
window:
X Enter the x-/y-position in the corresponding input fields.
X Position the mouse pointer within the measurement window.
Then drag while holding down the right mouse button.
X Click this button to maximize the measurement window and simul-
taneously center it in the measurement range.
X Click this button to save all current settings of the connected device.
A time series consists of several single plane measurements with the
same settings.
If the autom. Measurement window option is disabled, the size of the
measurement window can be set manually. Use one of the following
options:
X Enter the length and width in the corresponding input fields.
X Position the mouse pointer anywhere within the measurement
range and drag while holding down the left mouse button. Keep the
mouse button pressed until the measurement window meets your
requirements.
This option automatically defines the position of the next measurement
on the z-axis (see chapter 9.8.3 „Measure manual caustics with the
single plane measurement mode" on page 53).
X Enter the z increment in mm.
By entering the upper and lower limits of the precaustic, the range is
defined in which the precaustic is measured. This function is particularly
useful for measuring beams with high divergence.
This option is used to determine the z-range in which the measurement
is to be performed.
X Enter the lower limit z1 in the left field and the upper limit z2 in the
right field.
X Alternatively, use the sliders.
Use one of the following options to set the desired z-position of the
plane to be measured:
X Enter a value in the input field.
X Use the slider on the left side of the graphic display.
