3.3. Turn Off/Restart
The module can be turned off by driving the PWRKEY pin low for at least 3 s. If the PWRKEY pin is pulled
low for at least 3 s, you can choose to turn off the module in the prompt window popped up.
It is also possible to restart the module by driving the PWRKEY pin low for at least 8 s. If the PWRKEY pin
is pulled low for at least 8 s, the module will execute a forced shut-down and then restart. The restart
timing is illustrated in the following figure.

3.4. VRTC
The RTC (Real Time Clock) can be powered by an external power source when the module is powered
down and there is no power supply for the VBAT. The external power source can be a capacitor
according to application demands.
