3.1.4 Battery Operation

Powering the device from the network can disturb the in-progress measurement
for certain applications, such as low fan-out generators.
To operate on the battery alone, press the

3.2 CONFIGURING THE INSTRUMENT

Several main functions can be configured directly on the device. For full
configuration, use the PEL Control Panel (see § 5) once Wi-Fi communication
has been established.
To enter Configuration mode from the device, press the ◄ or ► buttons until
the
symbol is selected.
The following screen is displayed:
NOTE: If the PEL is already being configured from the PEL Control
Panel, it is not possible to enter Configuration mode on the device. In
this case, when an attempt is made to configure the device, the screen
will display LOCK.

3.2.1 Network Type

To change the network, press the
1P-2W1I: Single-phase 2-wire with a current sensor
1P-3W2I: Single-phase 3-wire (2 voltages in phase) with two current sensors
2P-3W2I: Two-phase 3-wires (2 voltages in opposite phases) with two current
sensors
