To connect your Matrox Iris GT to an external triggering device, connect the
ground of your Matrox Iris GT directly to the external triggering device's ground.
Then, connect a resistor between your Matrox Iris GT and the external triggering
device. Your Matrox Iris GT takes the output signal of the external triggering
device as its input.
You can create a Matrox Design Assistant project that will accept the trigger signal
and grab an image either on the signal's rising or falling edge.
