To determine whether your network uses a static IP address or DHCP, check the
configuration of your computer by performing the following:
1. Open the Windows Control Panel and double-click on the Network
Connections icon. The Network Connections dialog box opens.
If you have more than one active Local area connection, or an active wireless
connection, you might experience a problem with Matrox Design Assistant
connecting to your Matrox Iris GT. If this occurs, refer to the Appendix I:
Troubleshooting.
