You can connect a wide variety of external devices to the input signals of your
Matrox Iris GT, such as external triggering devices.
Your Matrox Iris GT auxiliary input and trigger signals can have a 5 V, 12 V, or
24 V power source. For more information regarding the electronic specifications
regarding the ON and OFF voltage levels, see the Electrical specifications subsection
of the Matrox Iris GT specifications section, in Appendix B: Technical Reference.
An external resistor must be used when dealing with non-TTL signals:
