Disable the Screen Saver

You can stop a screen saver at any time by touching the screen. After your phone is idle for the specified
period of time, the screen saver starts again.
You can disable a screen saver—prevent it from starting, even if your phone has been idle for the
specified period of time—by doing the following:
Removing the USB flash drive. The screen saver does not display until you attach the USB flash
drive again, and your phone is idle for the period of time you specified.
Disabling the Screen Saver setting. When you disable the setting, the screen saver does not
display, even though the USB flash drive is still attached.
Procedure
1. Navigate to Settings >Basic > Preferences > Screen Saver.
2. From the Screen Saver screen, select Screen Saver, and select Disabled.
3. Select Save.

Use Your Phone as a Digital Picture Frame

On VVX 401/411, 500/501, and 600/601 phones, you can use the Picture Frame feature to view pictures
stored on your USB flash drive at any time without setting up a screen saver. You can display your
pictures as thumbnails, one-by-one as a slide show, or display just one picture.
Before you can display your pictures, confirm that your pictures are on the USB flash drive, and that the
USB flash drive is attached to your phone.

To change the directory on a Polycom VVX phone, follow these steps:

1. Access the Directory:
- Press the Home button.
- Tap Directories.

2. Add a New Contact:
- Tap the + sign.
- Enter the first name, last name, and contact number (phone number).
- Ensure that the fields for First Name, Last Name, and Contact are filled out.

3. Customize Additional Fields:
- Enter a Favorite Index (speed dial reference number). If not set, the system assigns the next available position.
- Tap Label and enter a label for the contact.

4. Advanced Options:
- You can customize options like auto-rejecting the contact (sending to voicemail) or diverting the caller to another number. These are optional settings.

Make the required changes in the directory and save them as needed.
