4.2 DIAGNOSTIC CODE 1: DISPLAY SEGMENT TEST
Identifies failed segments in the Main and PPV Displays. Segments are the digital dots and dashes that
make up whole letters and numbers on the display.
1. Press 0, Mode to enter diagnostics Mode 00.
2. Press 1, Enter. Line 1 of the Main Display should show "PrESS" and line 2 should show "ENTEr" or
"PrS ENtr" on Volume only.
3. Press Enter to begin.
4. The display will show all dashes on one of the display segments. If any segments in that series are
blank the display is defective.
5. Press Enter repeatedly to cycle through all eight segments.
6. Press Cancel to exit this Diagnostics Code.

4.3 DIAGNOSTIC CODE 2: ERROR HISTORY

Displays the last 10 errors for the selected side.
1. Press 0, Mode to enter diagnostics Mode 00.
2. Press 2, Enter. Line 1 of the Main Display should show: "ERR XX" (XX is two-digit error code).
Line 2 will show "NO Err" or the numeric value of an error code.
3. Press Cancel to exit this code.
NOTE: Pressing +/- five times clears the error history on a selected side.

4.4 DIAGNOSTIC CODE 3: CPU TEST

Deliberately introduces a fault into the arithmetic unit of the 719 Control Board's Central Processing
Unit (CPU) to test whether the CPU recognizes the fault.
1. Press 0, Mode to enter diagnostics Mode 00.
2. Press 3, Enter. Line 1 of the display should show "Error" and line 2 should show "99".
NOTE: If the display does not show "ERRROR 99" the test has failed.
3. Press Cancel to clear the error and exit the test.

4.5 DIAGNOSTIC CODE 4: NOT USED

This code is not supported in this application.
