3.29 MENU CODE 27: ELECTRONIC CALIBRATION
IMPORTANT: Prior to calibrating the meter to the 719 Control Board, thoroughly purge the air from
the hydraulic lines by dispensing 50-100 gallons of fuel through the system, see Section 2.1
Dispensing Fuel.
• Dispenser meter test calibration values are factory set. The factory test values for each meter
are also written in marker on the meter housing.
• Final calibration is required on site.
• If a dispenser has no values entered for the meters (refer to Menu Code 99) attempting to
dispense fuel will produce Calibration Error 70, see Section 4.11 Error Codes.
• All programming in Menu Codes six (6) and four (4) must be setup prior to calibration.
NOTE: The factory test values for each meter are written in marker on the meter housing.
Three options are available for calibrating the meter to the 719 Control Board, see the Calibration
Option table below.
• Chose options one (1) or two (2) when using a proving test can that matches the option.
• Chose option three (3) when the calibration values are already known (typically used when
replacing a 719 Control Board).

milliliters, etc.). The dispenser automatically converts and stores the volume
entry into a percentage.

The percentage value is already known and is keyed in by the technician.
