Printing a Transparency
1. Start the Color Uniformity wizard from the Options menu.
2. Click Next to begin.
3. In the following screen, continue as follows:
4. Put on protective gloves.
5. Make sure that the build tray is empty and clean.
6. Place the blank transparency sheet flush against the rear and left edges of

❒ Zyvax WaterShield™ for cleaning the transparency
❒ 90% isopropanol (IPA—isopropyl alcohol) or ethanol (ethyl alcohol)
❒ a computer running GrabCAD Print (preferably the computer that sends
print jobs to the printer)
❒ the Color Uniformity Utility (a MATLAB
required if not installed).

Important: The scanner platen and transparencies used in this procedure
must be absolutely clean, without scratches, fingerprints or other marks. If
necessary, use a suitable glass cleaner and cleaning cloth, and always
wear gloves when handling these items.
❒ To print a transparency sheet for analysis in the Color Uniformity Utility,
select Print transparency and click Next.
❒ To enter correction values that you obtained from an earlier analysis
without printing a transparency, select Enter correction values and
click Next.
❒ To activate or deactivate the correction values that you have entered at
an earlier time, select Activate/Deactivate uniformity correction and
click Next.
