NOTE Range can also be acquired and displayed in the Modem Comms
screen. Refer to "Acquiring and Displaying Ranges in the Modem Comms
Screen" on page 4-31.
Acquiring and Displaying the Range to a
Remote Modem
To acquire and display the range to a remote modem:
1. Touch the Release/Range function
button.
The Release/Range screen opens.
2. Select Benthos Smart Release/
Modem from the drop-down list as
shown in Figure 4-22.
The Benthos Smart Release/
Modem pop-up opens as shown in
Figure 4-23.
3. Touch the Remote Address
setting.
The remote address keypad opens
as shown in Figure 4-23.
4. Enter the address of the SMART
release or modem, and then touch
OK. To backspace and delete a
character, touch the Delete pad.
The keypad closes and the
address is displayed as the
Remote Address setting.
5. Touch Range Options to open the
Range Options pop-up if it is not already open as shown.
