Viewing the Battery Level/Charge and
External AC/DC Power Source Indicators
The Battery Level/Charge indicator provides an analog indication of the
energy remaining in the two internal batteries. It also indicates when the
batteries are being charged or if there are no batteries installed. The
External AC/DC Power Source indicator indicates whether external AC or DC
power is powering the UDB-9000. The external DC power capability is
optional, and batteries are installed only in the portable configuration.

The External AC/DC Power Source indicator provides the following
indications.

Viewing the Time and Date Display

The Time and Date display can be viewed in any one of three modes: Time,
Date or Alternate. The Alternate mode alternates from displaying time to
displaying date. To go from one mode to the next, touch the display. The
name of the mode is displayed briefly before switching to it.
User's Manual
Indicates that the batteries are low and should be recharged.
Indicates that the batteries are fully charged.
Indicates that the batteries are being charged. The batteries are
charged from external AC or DC power. The external DC power
capability is optional for the UDB-9000.
Indicates that the deck box is being powered by external AC or
DC power.
Indicates that external AC power is powering the deck box.
When no indicator is shown, the deck box is being powered by
its internal batteries.
Indicates that external DC power is powering the deck box.
When no indicator is shown, the deck box is being powered by
its internal batteries.
