3-14 Seats and Restraints
Front airbags will inflate in certain
severe frontal or near frontal
impacts. Front airbags are not
designed to inflate if the vehicle is
struck from the side, rear or, in
rollovers. Always wear a seat belt.

Side Airbag System

Side Impact Airbags (SIAB) are
stored in the sides of the front seats,
the side closest to the door.
SIAB are identified by labels with
the words AIRBAG on the seatback
and FRONT SEAT SIDE IMPACT
AIRBAGS on the door pillar.
