Depending on the state of the system, the process control mechanisms are
activated. Factors for each state are listed in the following table.
Process Control Operational Mode Definitions
Mode
Mode 1
When the Power Switch is turned On, the current environmental
readings are different from when the Power Switch was turned Off.
The stored environmental readings taken when Energy Saver mode
was entered differ from those taken when the system woke from
Energy Saver mode.
The Power Switch is turned Off and On or Energy Saver mode is
canceled after a predetermined number of printed pages have been
produced.
A new Imaging Unit or Toner Cartridge is detected.
Mode 2
Only the Power Switch is turned Off and On, or Energy Saver mode is
canceled after a predetermined number of printed pages have been
produced.

appears below.
