Row D Usually holds empty elution tubes, this is also the row closest to the front of the

instrument, holds up to 24 elution tubes. The tubes recommended by QIAGEN are provided
with EZ1 DSP or EZ1&2 kits.
Important: Only use QIAGEN recommended tubes for elution.
For information on how to load the tip rack, refer to the Loading the tip rack section (see page
110).
Heating system
The heating system is located under the rear part of the cartridge rack. If required by the used
protocol, it heats up the wells in positions 11 and 12 of the cartridge.
