WARNING Moving parts
To avoid contact with moving parts during the operation of the EZ2, the
instrument must be operated with the hood closed.
If the hood sensor or lock is not functioning correctly, contact QIAGEN
Technical Services.

Avoid contact with moving parts during operation of the EZ2. Under no
circumstances should hands be placed under the pipetting arm during
movement. Do not attempt to remove any plasticware from the worktable
whilst the instrument is operating.

Worktable

The EZ2 worktable contains two movable racks (the cartridge rack and the tip rack) that hold all
the labware required for a protocol run, and the heating system, which controls the temperature of
liquids during a run.
