The EZ2 tip rack consists of two separate parts. The left part of the tip rack is used for labware in
positions from 1 to 12. The right part of the tip rack is used for labware in positions 13 to 24.
The tip racks are located at the front of the worktable. Each consists of four rows and 12 positions:
Row A which is the row that is closest to the cartridge rack, holds up to 24 sample tubes.


Row B may contain a tube with manually filled components, such as carrier RNA or Ethanol


Row C usually holds up to 24 tip holders with filter tips, which are provided with the EZ1
