Problem

Possible Causes
Heater not turned on.
Heater not connected.
Board failure.
Component failure.
Set point has changed due to
test starting.
Offset for heater probe is
incorrect.
Heater probe has failed
External temperature probe
offset is incorrect.
External temperature probe
has failed.
Probe is disconnected.
Probe is damaged.
Troubleshooting
Recommended Action
Turn on heater.
Connect heater to tester using
RS-232 cable to Temp Control
ports.
Contact THR Technical
Support.
Contact THR Technical
Support.
Confirm set point on main
screen.
Correct heater probe offset on
probe calibration screen.
Replace heater probe.
Correct external probe offset
on probe calibration screen.
Replace external temperature
probe.
Reconnect temperature probe.
