Safety functions in special mode "Safe motion SMMx"
● Selection:
● Status display:
● Monitoring function:
With the auxiliary function "limitation of the positioning velocity", it is possible
to monitor and, if necessary, limit the velocity command value effective in the
drive to the active velocity threshold (P‑0‑3238).

Notes on project planning "SLS"
When using the safety function "Safely-limited speed", it is absolutely necessary
to observe the following safety instructions:
Bosch Rexroth AG
The safety function is active if it is parameterized for the special operation
upon selection "Safe motion SMMx" (P‑0‑3290.x.1 with "x"=1-16 for SMM1-
SMM16).
For commissioning, the velocity thresholds have to be parameterized
[P‑0‑3290.x.2 (x=1..16).
The velocity thresholds are password-protected after activation of the safety
technology (P‑0‑3230.0.1) and cannot be changed by unauthorized persons.
(P‑0‑3230 contains the status of the safety technology password).
The safety functions are selected via the active "SafeMotion" profile
(P‑0‑3264).
For example, the 16 different Safe motions (SMM) with the corresponding
directions can be selected via the SMMx signals 1 to 16 (A_SMMx, x=1..16)
in the SafeMotion profile Bosch Rexroth.
The status parameter (P‑0‑3264.0.1, bit 4) indicates if the safety function is
activated.
The currently active velocity monitoring limit of SafeMotion is displayed in
the active velocity threshold (P‑0‑3238). With P‑0‑3238, it is possible to
check in the control unit whether the velocity command values are within
the allowed limits.
Dual-channel monitoring for exceeding the velocity thresholds [P‑0‑3290.x.2
(x=1..16).
When the monitoring function is triggered, this causes an error reaction
which decelerates the drive system (F7013).
