Removing The Microtome - Leica CM3050 S Service Manual

Chapter 2
Disassembly - microtome with base plate (7)
1. Slightly lift the heated window (13) and pull it
out towards the front.
2. Pull off sensor (5) backwards.
Do not pull at the cable!
3. Take the coarse feed cable (6) at the plug and
pull it to the left. Do not pull at the cable!
4. On instruments with specimen cooling:
a) Remove screw (1).
b) Slightly pull specimen head (4) forward.
c) Use the specimen head fixture (11) to hang up
the specimen head (4) on the drain pan (12).
5. Remove screws (2) and saucer springs (3).
6. Turn the handwheel (14) to move the
specimen cylinder (15) to its lower end position.
7. Move the microtome with base plate (7) to the
left as far as it will go.
8. Remove microtome / base plate (7) forward.
Reinstallation - microtome / base plate (7)
1. Reinstallation is done in reverse order.
2. To reconnect the components of the claw
coupling (8) the specimen cylinder (15) and the
handle of handwheel (14) must be each at their
lower end position.

2. 4 Microtome (2.4.1 Removing the microtome)
Ausbau Mikrotom mit Grundplatte (7)
1. Scheibe (13) etwas anheben und nach vorne
herausziehen.
2. Sensor (5) nach hinten abziehen.
Nicht am Kabel ziehen!
3. Grobtriebkabel (6) am Klinkenstecker nach
links abziehen. Nicht am Kabel ziehen!
4. Bei Geräten mit Objektkühlung:
a) Schraube (1) entfernen.
b) Objektkopf, kpl. (4) ein wenig nach vorne
ziehen.
c) Objektkopf (4) mit Hilfe der Objektkopf-
halterung (11) an der Tauwasserwanne (12)
einhängen.
5. Schrauben (2) mit Tellerfedern (3) entfernen.
6. Handrad (14) drehen, bis Zylinderführung (15)
in unterer Stellung ist.
7. Mikrotom mit Grundplatte (7) nach links bis
zum Anschlag schieben.
8. Mikrotom / Grundplatte (7) nach vorne heraus
nehmen.
Einbau Mikrotom mit Grundplatte (7)
1. Der Einbau erfolgt in umgekehrter Reihenfolge.
2. Beim Verbinden der Kupplungsteile (8)
müssen die Zylinderführung (15), sowie der
Griff des Handrads (14) in unterer Stellung
stehen.
