Service Manual / Leica CM3050 S
Important note!
The operating instructions below are valid only for
the instrument Leica CM 3050 S. They supplement
chapter 7.5 of the standard Leica CM3050
instruction manual, explaining the new / additional
functions of the Leica CM3050 S unit. All references
to figures, page numbers and / or headings relate to
the instruction manual version 1.3-07/96.
1.
The instrument is no longer switched on/off via the
mains switch shown in Fig. 21.1 (which has been
eliminated in the new Leica CM3050 S) but via
switch (1), which combines the function of ON/OFF
switch and automatic cutout for the instrument.

modified as far as shape and key functions are
concerned. New is the instrument name LEICA
CM3050 S, as well as a number of new display

Modules A and C remain the same, i.e. are identical
with those in the Leica CM 3050 unit.
Module B has been modified as follows:
