Matrix SPARSH VP710, Android-based Phone, is a business smart media phone, which runs on a deeply
customized Android operating system. For system security, Matrix has streamlined the Android operating system
for the IP phone and only the modules related to phone features is retained. Therefore, this Matrix streamlined
Android operating system may not be completely compatible with all third-party Android apps. Meanwhile, the
available third-party apps on the market are in varying qualities and some even contain malicious codes, which
could compromise the system security. To avoid the poor performance of the phone and minimize the losses for
both, You and Matrix, we, Matrix hereby declare:
The third-party apps on Matrix Android-based Phone can be installed via Matrix Auto-provisioning or
through Web User Interface, please contact Matrix Support or Field Application Engineer.
Matrix makes long-term commitment to authorize some of Android apps officially for Matrix Android-based
Phone and regularly releases the Compatibility List for World-ready Apps on Matrix Android-based Phone.
World-ready Apps are those that are developed by general developers and can be used worldwide.
The compatibility of third-party apps with Matrix Android-based Phone depends on the firmware version
of each Matrix Android-based Phone, meaning that different Android-based Phones with different
firmware versions have different app compatibilities. Every time when Matrix released the new firmware
version, the apps will be re-authorized by Matrix automatically.
The compatibility of third-party apps with Matrix Android-based Phone depends on the software version
of app itself, meaning that different software versions of one single app should be authorized by Matrix
one by one. Each time the app is updated, you should ask Matrix to authorize this app for its new
version.
If there is an app which has not been authorized by Matrix yet it is essential for you to install on Matrix
Android-based Phone, then you can submit your application to Matrix PMT Team for third-party app
authorization. Matrix will check both user information and app information and reserves the rights of
whether to authorize or not.

If the app is not officially authorized by Matrix, Matrix Field Application Engineer (FAE) will explain the
reasons.

shall be assumed by YOU not Matrix, and Matrix will not provide any support for this kind of issue.
