Engine Stop Switch

1. Engine stop switch
This switch can be used to stop the en-
gine and as an emergency control.
To stop engine, set the engine stop
switch to the STOP position.
NOTE: While the engine can be
stopped by removing the D.E.S.S.
key from the D.E.S.S. post, we rec-
ommend the engine be stopped by
setting the engine stop switch to the
STOP position.
While reading this Operator's Guide, remember that:
Indicates a potential hazard that, if not avoided, could result in serious

Engine Start Button

When engine start button is pressed
and held, it starts the engine.
NOTE: To allow engine starting, the
D.E.S.S. key must be securely installed
on the D.E.S.S. post and the engine
stop button set to RUN.
To power up the vehicle without start-
ing the engine, refer to
THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
Override/DPS Button
Depending on the vehicle model, this
button has up to 3 functions.
