PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
What to Do After the Engine is Started

INSPECTION TO PERFORM
Check if steering operates freely by completely turning it
from side to side
Check operation of shift lever (P, R, N, H and L)
Check operation of 2WD/4WD selector
Drive forward slowly a few feet and apply brake lever
and brake pedal individually. The brakes must fully apply.
Lever and pedal must fully return when released
Check that the engine stop switch is working properly
Check if D.E.S.S. post is working properly by pulling the
D.E.S.S. key from the D.E.S.S. post and stopping the
engine
