Overview of the CANopen
®
CANopen
is a CAN based higher layer protocol which provides a very flexible system for transferring serial
messages between different nodes via the CAN bus.
1) Simple, relatively high speed communication can be accomplished with modules that handle binary data
such as I/Os or numeric data.

simultaneously.
3) Messages can be prioritized for transfer to the CAN Bus.
