model treadmills which use the tension adjustment bolt to both secure and adjust the belt
tension.

1. Switch the power OFF and

3. Slowly relax the running belt tension using a 5/16" hex key driver and ratchet (only
use hand tools and not power tools). Alternately loosen the left and right tension
adjustment bolts in 1/4 turn increments so that the running belt tension is evenly
relaxed. Continue until all tension is removed.
CAUTION: Only use hand tools to adjust tension. Power tools can easily over
and/or under tension causing damage to the belt and/or tension hardware
mechanism.
4. Use a pen or tape to mark the left and right ends of the roller prior to removal. The
roller must be reinstalled with the same left/right orientation.

Disconnect a device power cord plug or cable connector from the power receptacle or out-
let.
