Equipment Required to Replace a Filament

• Needle nose pliers.
• 1/16" hex wrench (supplied by AMETEK).
• Filament assembly kit (supplied by AMETEK).
• Latex gloves ( powder-free).
Handling the Filament by the shorting tabs on the Filament plate
will ensure against contamination through handling since these
tabs will eventually be discarded.

Removing the Electronics from the Analyzer Head

Always remove 24 VDC power from the AMETEK electronics
before removing the electronics from the sensor.
•
After powering down the electronics unit, carefully use the
tightening knobs on the sides of the unit to unlock the
electronics from the analyzer head.
•
Once loosened, gently pull straight down on the unit, without
twisting, until it is free of the head. Do not remove the cabling
from the electronics unit.
