The I/O board must be removed to facilitate replacement of the
Master, Control, and Scan boards.
The I/O board slot is located between the Front Panel and the LED / Heat
Sink (see Figure 5-2.1).
Front Panel is part of Master board and returned to
factory when sending in board for replacement.
Replacement board includes front panel. Record settings
before returning board to factory to facilitate setting up
the new board.
To remove the I/O board:
1. Disconnect the cables from the three connectors (one 15-pin and
two 9-pin) at the back of the I/O board (Figure 5-2.2).
2. Remove the screws from the top and bottom of the I/O board that
secure the case to the electronics unit (Figure 5-2.1).
3. Gently slide out the board disengaging the inside connectors. It may
be necessary to gently wiggle the board so that it comes loose. You do
not need to remove the cover from the board.
