1-10 | FlarePro Process Mass Spectrometer
Electronics Unit
The electronics unit smart sensor offers the latest quadrupole technology
using a Celanese Source. The electronics unit operates at 100 or 200 AMU
range using a Faraday cup or Faraday cup / Electron Multiplier detector.
Sample System
The FlarePro sample system is typically offered with either 16 or 24 valves.
One channel (both configurations) is reserved for the process (flare)
measurement, and the rest are used with calibration/verification gases.
The 24-valve system is used for more complex analyses, which require a
greater number of calibration gases. Physically, the differences between
the 16- and 24-valve configurations are:
•
Larger valve manifold for 24-valve analyzer, and increased number of
valves.
•
Larger sample system enclosure (on top of the analyzer) to
accommodate the lager manifold.
•
More connection fittings or heated sample line entries to
accommodate larger number of streams
Figure 1-3 illustrates an example of a 24-valve system, with two (2) heated
sample line entries (one for process Sample In/Out and one for eight
heated calibration gases). There are also 15 connection ports/channels for
non-heated calibration gases.
