Steady red Faulted module
Alternating red/green The module is performing a self-test
Alternating red/off Incorrect node configuration

Off Module not communicating due to a power
supply fault or internal fault.
Steady green Connections established
Flashing green No connections established
Steady red Major fault
Flashing red I/O module removed
Wrong I/O module inserted

Take This Action
Apply power.
1. Cycle power.
2. If the fault persists, contact your Rockwell
Automation representative or distributor.

Check the module's network address and other ControlNet
configuration parameters.
Take This Action
1. Check the power supply.
2. Check the cable connectors.
3. Make sure the module is properly installed on the
DIN rail.
4. If the indicator remains off, replace the module.
None
Establish connections, if necessary.
1. Cycle power.
2. If the problem persists, replace the daughtercard.
Reinsert the module.
Replace the wrong module with the correct module.
Wait for the program update to finish.
