Cause
Accuracy of the CO
sensor

cannot currently be guaran-
teed.
An internal fan for evacuating
gases is faulty.
The set CPAP pressure could
not be achieved due to leak-
age. The system has
changed the CPAP setting to
"Off".
Negative pressure in the
breathing system due to
insufficient fresh gas in the
breathing bag. The system
utilizes ambient air to ensure
ventilation.
etCO
has exceeded the

upper alarm limit.
etCO
is below the lower

alarm limit.
Sensor calibration failed.
Accessory has been used too
long.
The sensor is not calibrated.
The breathing system has
been replaced or discon-
nected since last calibration.
Failure of the flow sensor.
Troubleshooting
Remedy
If the problem persists for
more than 10 minutes, call
DrägerService.
To prevent potential damage,
switch off system at your ear-
liest convenience. Increased
risk of fire.
Call DrägerService.
Check the breathing circuit for
tight connections and leak-
ages.
Increase fresh-gas flow.
Reapply the CPAP setting.
Use "ALARM RESET" to
acknowledge alarm.
Refill breathing bag (e.g., with
"O
+" or "Add. O
").
