11.4 Maintenance of Suction

The suction injector consists of nozzle, diffuser and holder with diaphragm
check.
The sucked-in chlorine dioxide (ClO
diffuser, and transported to the disposal line.
The diaphragm check prevents water from penetrating the PE line when the
suction is switched off.
Regularly clean the filter of the dirt trap (if fitted).
If water containing heavy deposits is used, these can change the nozzle ratio of
the injector such that losses in performance occur when sucking. The nozzle must
be cleaned in this case.
CAUTION
Do not use any sharp objects to clean the nozzles.
Hydrochloric acid has been shown to be the best
cleaning agent.
Observe the regulations for handling hydrochloric acid!
