NOTE
The Oxiperm C164 systems are always started up with
water.
To do this, immerse both suction lines into a tank filled
with water.
CAUTION
The Oxiperm C164 systems with concentrated
chemicals must only be started up with observation of
the following procedure:
1.)
2.)
3.)
4.)
5.)
6.)
7.)
NOTE
Generator 164-2500C, Dosingpump H2O
- fill the pump with the supplied hydraulic oil and
deaerate the dosing head
- after 6 - 10 operating hours retighten the dosing head
screws
NOTE
The stroke length of the dosing pumps is factory-set,
and may be different depending on the system size.
When gauging the dosing pump (adjustment to local
pressure conditions), loosen the screw underneath the
stroke adjustment knob and readjust the dosing pump
to the required consumption data if necessary. Then
tighten the stroke adjustment knob again to prevent
unintentional maladjustment.
NOTE
When gauging the dosing pumps for HCl and NaClO 2 ,
reduce the preset value by approx. 10% - 15% (e.g.
preset value 50%, gauging at 35% - 40%) when carrying
out the first gauging. Then readjust the dosing pumps to
the correct consumption data depending on the local
pressure conditions.
NOTE
Startup must only be carried out by authorized
specialists.
NOTE
In the case of the systems 164-1300C and 164-2500C
with the option for housing suction, the side panels
must be removed to gauge the dosing pump for HCl or
NaClO 2 prior to startup. Screw the side panels back on
following startup.
NOTE
In the case of systems in the batch design (solenoid
valve and ball valve) and with the option for housing
suction, the side panels must also be removed prior to
startup in order to set the correct water quantity
(bypass) or to gauge the dosing pumps. Screw the side
panels back on following startup.
