Festo has developed an optimised data profile, the Festo
Handling and Positioning Profile (FHPP)", tailored to handling
and positioning functions.
The FHPP allows the various Festo fieldbus systems and con
trollers to be uniformly controlled and programmed.
It also uniformly defines the following for the user:
Operating modes
I/O data structure
Parameters
Sequence control.
