Measurement Examples
Gate Charge Measurement
To prevent electrical shock and DUT damage, do not connect or disconnect the
DUT while the instrument is applying voltage or current.
When you touch the DUT after measurement, devise a countermeasure of
residual charge and heat to prevent electrical shock and burn. Use gloves and
any tool. Also have enough time for discharge and radiation.

Prepare a measurement as follows:
1. Connect the test fixture, the socket module, the adapter, and the required
accessories.

2. Prepare a DUT (device under test) and a current control device (current load
device) or a load resistor (resistive load).
The current control device must be a 3-pin inline package device which is
expected to have the same characteristics as DUT. If the device is not available,
use a load resistor. The resistor must satisfy the following specifications.
Resistance = Vr/Ir (Vr: rated voltage, Ir: rated current)
Peak power  Vr × Ir × 1 ms
3. Turn the instrument on.
Do not connect the devices at this time.
