Examine the crew seat attenuation indicators. (F1/F2)
8.
Examine the safety belts and shoulder harnesses for
deterioration. Make sure they are correctly attached to the
airframe structure. (F1/F2/F3/F4)
9.
Examine the cabin fire extinguisher for damage or
corrosion. Examine the operation of the quick opening clamp.
Make sure the fire extinguisher is fully charged. (F1/F2)
10. Examine the placards and instrument panel decals. Make
sure all of the instrument markings are clear and legible. (F1/F2)

11. If installed, examine both of the engine inlet screens for
damage. (F5/F6)
12. Examine all of the firewalls and fire shields for cracks,
distortion, loose or missing rivets, broken spot welds and
deterioration of the seals and sealant. (E1/E2)
13. Examine the left power plant area for fuel or oil leaks.
Examine the wire harness and the flexible and rigid fuel and oil
lines for wear, chafing and damage. Make sure they are
correctly attached. (E1)
14. Examine the left engine mounts and accessories for
damage. Make sure they are correctly attached. (E1)
15. Examine the left engine power lever, fuel control box
assembly and control cable for looseness and correct range of
motion. Make sure they are correctly attached. (E1)
