CONDITIONAL INSPECTIONS

Conditional inspections are unscheduled inspections
or checks that must be performed following the
occurrence of unusual events reported during the
operation of the helicopter. Such events include (but
are not limited to) the following:
hard landing
sudden stoppage — power ON or OFF
overtorque
lightning strike
overspeed
compressor stall or surge
CONDITIONAL INSPECTIONS
Evaluate the components that you remove from the
helicopter as a result of a conditional inspection as an
interrelated group. The removal records that go with
each component must cross-reference the part and
serial numbers of the other components that you
removed for evaluation.
