INSPECTION TASK DESCRIPTION
b. Record the length of time and the maximum engine
torque in the transmission and main driveshaft maintenance
records. Make an entry in the component record to show that
the reason for removal was an OEI overtorque.
c. Download engine history data from ECU using the
MT35 program and review data.
d. Perform engine overtorque inspection, as required.
e. Disassemble the main transmission and do an overhaul
inspection of the transmission subassemblies that follow:
(1) Center bearing case (gearshaft support case).
(2) Collector gear shaft.
(3) "Power on" side outboard quill.
(4) "Power on" side input quill.
f. Do an overhaul of the "power on" side main driveshaft.
