SCHEDULED INSPECTIONS
INSPECTION TASK DESCRIPTION

Do the applicable engine inspection.
4.
Lubricate the helicopter as necessary.
DETAIL:
1.
Examine the outside of the airframe and the tailboom
assembly for cracks and other damage. Examine the bottom of
the fuselage and wings for fuel leaks.
2.
Examine the landing gear forward crosstube, skid tubes
and skid shoes for damage and to make sure it is correctly
attached.
3.
Examine the landing gear aft cross tube, support beam,
pivot bolt and wear strips for damage and to make sure it is
correctly attached.
4.
If retractable landing gear is installed, examine the nose
landing gear doors for damage and to make sure the linkage is
correctly attached. Examine the doors for cracks in the skin near
the hinges. (F1/F2)
5.
If retractable landing gear is installed, examine the nose
landing gear for damage and the extend-retract and downlock
actuators for leaks. Examine the tire for correct pressure and
wear. Examine the wheel for cracks and to make sure it is
serviceable. (F1/F2)
6.
If retractable landing gear is installed, examine the main
landing gear for damage and the extend-retract and downlock
actuators for leaks. Examine the brake assemblies for hydraulic
leaks and more than allowable lining wear. Examine the brake
discs and torque keys for damage. Examine the tires for correct
pressure and wear. Examine the wheels for cracks and to make
sure they are serviceable. (W1/W2)
