SCHEDULED INSPECTIONS
INSPECTION TASK DESCRIPTION
4.
Examine the safety belts and shoulder harnesses for
deterioration. Make sure they are correctly attached to the
airframe structure. (F1/F2/F3/F4)
5.
Examine the crew doors, passenger doors and baggage
compartment doors for damage or corrosion. Examine the
positive locking mechanisms. Examine the door seals for tears
or separations. Make sure the doors are correctly attached to
the airframe structure. (F1/F2/F3/F4)
6.
Examine the cabin fire extinguisher for damage or
corrosion. Examine the operation of the quick opening clamp.
Make sure the fire extinguisher is fully charged. (F1/F2)
7.
Examine the placards and instrument panel decals. Make
sure all of the instrument markings are clear and legible. (F1/F2)
8.
Examine the condition of the electrical and avionics
components in the nose compartment. Make sure they are
correctly installed. Examine the electrical harnesses and cables
for frayed wires and loose or broken clamps and fasteners.
9.
Examine the nose compartment door for damage. Make
sure it latches correctly. (F1/F2)
10. Examine the pitot tubes. Make sure they are correctly
attached. (F1/F2)
11. Examine the cyclic and collective shaft assemblies and
control tubes installed on the roof for loose bearings, wear,
corrosion or mechanical damage. Make sure they are correctly
attached. (F5/F6)
