INSPECTION TASK DESCRIPTION
(3) Tail rotor driveshaft flexible disc assemblies.
(4) Tail rotor driveshafts.
(5) Replace any unserviceable parts.

Rotating controls:

a. Visually examine the rotating controls and replace any
unserviceable parts as necessary.

Tail rotor hub and blades:
a. Visually examine the tail rotor hub and blades for
damage.
b. Remove the tail rotor blade bolts and examine them for
deformation or damage.
c. Remove and replace the tail rotor hub and blade
assembly if you find any damage.
d. Do an overhaul. Make an entry in the component record
to show that the reason for removal was a compressor stall or
surge

Main rotor and blades:

a. Visually examine the main rotor yokes and blades.
b. Examine the blade retaining bolts and the bolts
attaching the blade cuff to the adapter for deformation.
c. Do an inspection of the main rotor yokes and blades.
Make an entry in the component record to show that the reason
for removal was a compressor stall or surge.

Airframe:

a. Examine the tail rotor gearbox and vertical fin fittings for
loose or sheared rivets and cracks. If you do not find any
damage, return the helicopter to flight status. Do
